DOJ announces $4.8 million in school safety grants to 81 school districts and private schools

Attorney General Brad Schimel today announced an additional 81 schools and school districts that combined will receive $4,771,686 from the first round of the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) School Safety Grant program.  Grant funds will be used for building safety improvements as well as training for faculty and staff.

The news release issued by Schimel’s office included a statement in bold print indicating that, “More grants will be awarded to schools that applied for the first round of grant funding soon.

Following is a list of schools that were awarded school safety grant on July 30, 2018:
