Rep. Leon Young not seeking re-election

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Rep. Leon Young (D-Milwaukee) has announced he will not seek re-election to the state Assembly.  Supreme Moore Omokunde, a Milwaukee County supervisor and the son of U.S. Rep. Gwen Moore, is planning to run for the seat.  Rep. Young was first elected to the Assembly in 1992.

He is the latest on a growing list of state legislators that have announced they are not running for re-election. We will keep you updated if more announcements are made.
