WASB Unveils New Software to Strengthen Advocacy Efforts

VoterVoiceToday, the WASB debuted a new member benefit that makes it easier for our members to contact their lawmakers and advocate for their schools.  If you are a WASB member, you should have received an email today from “WASB Action Alert” asking you to take action and contact your lawmakers to ask them to support the additional school funding proposed by Gov. Walker.

We hope that you will try the new system and contact Dan or Chris at WASB with any questions and feedback on how it worked for you.  This new system is a benefit to WASB membership and is not available for use by the general public.

In the email there will be a “Take Action” button that links to our Action Center.  There you can choose to contact your lawmakers through email and/or social media.  The system is also optimized for easy use on mobile devices.

Didn’t receive an email?  The email addresses we have in our database are provided to WASB by your district’s administrative assistant or bookkeeper.  Typically, these are your school district email account so you may find it there.  If you want to change the email address you want to use for receiving action alerts you can do so at any time (when taking action through the system, you have the ability to change your contact info).  For a few of you, we have no email address on file.  If you are unsure what email address we have on file for you, contact your district office or WASB.

Please note: You can only send messages through the system to your own legislators based on your home address and not to surrounding lawmakers that may also represent parts of your district.
