Governor Scott Walker once again pledged more money for public schools in his 2017-19 state budget proposal via Twitter:
We will put additional money into public schools, our technical colleges and the University of Wisconsin system in our budget.

State agency asks have been submitted to the governor and he will introduce his proposal during a budget address in February where we will likely first hear the specifics of his plan. This is certainly welcome news for school districts as revenues to K-12 schools have not kept pace with inflation (CPI-U) since the passage of Act 10 as illustrated below:
